Cisco TMS approaching end-of-life
Back in 2023, we wrote about Cisco announcing the end-of-life of the Cisco Telepresence Management Suite (TMS) and Exchange Integration (XE) Subscriptions. The last day to order the products was in Jan 2024 and the last day of support is January 31, 2027.
Two years later, that deadline is fast approaching, and many organizations are still in the midst of their transition, actively seeking a reliable replacement for Cisco TMS. Long lead times are common in large organizations, making early migration planning critical to avoid last-minute challenges.
Update: Watch Peter Klein (Commercial Director at Mividas) explains why the Mividas Suite is the perfect Cisco TMS replacement for your hybrid, on-prem or air-gapped video infrastructure:
Transition to Mividas Rooms — Control Hub for your on-prem environment
Since its launch in 2019, Mividas Rooms has become a trusted, feature-rich alternative to Cisco TMS. We’ve kept the familiar functionality users expect from Cisco TMS while introducing powerful new tools that simplify management, provisioning, and monitoring of Cisco room systems.
Secure, EU-based, and ready for the future of collaboration. Certified by Cisco and trusted by major public sector organisations and enterprises.
Migrating to Mividas Rooms is straightforward and we’d be happy to show you how easy it can be.

Mividas Rooms has received outstanding feedback from both architects and technical administrators. Every new feature is developed in close collaboration with our partners and customers.

Enhanced functionality
Designed for flexibility and control, combining advanced management, monitoring, and automation capabilities in one platform.
Hybrid support
Manage both on-prem and Webex-registered devices from a single interface, with automatic sync across environments. Also integrates with both Cisco Meeting Server and Pexip Infinity platforms.
One-Button-to-Push
Easily join any video meeting with a single touch. Supports standard SMTP services and integrates with Microsoft Exchange via EWS and Microsoft Graph (Office 365).
Scheduling
Mividas offers flexible scheduling through its web portal, Outlook plugin, or API (optional components). Users can create recurring meetings, add ad hoc sessions, check room system availability, and schedule room devices to join external platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Meetings can be managed on behalf of others, with full visibility of upcoming, ongoing, and past events. Scheduling works independently of Microsoft Exchange.
Directory Service
Provides advanced directory management with manual entries, hierarchy and group support, synchronized data sources, including CSV/Excel, other address books, managed room systems, LDAP and more. Excel import/export and filtering tools simplify directory maintenance and updates.
Configuration Management
Enables provisioning and configuration of Cisco CE, RoomOS, and Webex-registered devices. Templates for configurations and commands settings streamline device setup. Supports active and passive provisioning, proxy connections, backups, branding profiles, and retrieval of previous call statistics.
Macro Room Controls
Integrates room control management into a unified interface, supporting import of XML, JS, and ZIP files. Multiple room control collections can be organized and maintained easily. Room controls can also include dynamic variables, allowing configurations and behaviors to automatically adapt based on settings or parameters from specific systems, enabling greater flexibility and automation across environments.
Maintenance and Monitoring
Provides a centralized dashboard for monitoring system status, onboarding devices, managing firmware, and organizing locations and certificates. Includes troubleshooting and debug tools. Our monitoring feature also includes the ability to acknowledge room system warnings, providing users with a clear view of issues that require attention.
Sensors and People Count
Delivers real-time insights into meeting room conditions such as occupancy, humidity, temperature, and noise levels. Offers both live monitoring and historical analysis of room usage patterns.
Analytics
Generates detailed reports on call statistics, system usage, and debug data, helping administrators analyze and optimize performance across Cisco Webex Room systems.
Step-by-step migration
Keep every feature you rely on – provisioning, scheduling, OBTP, macros, firmware, analytics – while upgrading to a modern interface. Migration is fast, low-risk, and fully supported.
- Install and onboard Mividas Rooms on a virtual machine
- Export your systems from Cisco TMS
